"Life is a beauty contest"

I heard this phrase from "Little Miss Sunshine".. and.. I kinda agree with that..

Let's see High school students.. they try to make their skirt as short as possible, don't use under shirt, sometimes use make up, having the same hair styles..
College is the same..if we see in some faculties and universities, u can see a fashion show.. (well not in my faculty)
Work place.. the same..

And..sometimes people judge from this looks and beauty thing.. so.. like a Beauty Contest..

What about someone who can't follow? Like me for example.. I've already given up to participate in that peagent since long..
